United Methodist Men's and Women's News

The UMM met on May 18th and agreed to suspend the June and July meetings.   Our next meeting will be on August 17th.

 

We moved our annual Fish Fry to September, the exact date TBD. We did this so we would be able to provide food for the Carnival that was held on May 21st.

 

Although we aren't meeting for two months, we still invite all men to join the UMM, just see me… information follows at the end.

The UMW will not have a meeting until September. Please remember to continue reading during the summer, there is some good books in our library in the room beside the sanctuary. I just finished reading Three Cups of Tea, a very good book, I recommend it. All you need to do is read one book from each category or just read any book from our library to be in the reading program.

 

I will still be taking orders for cards or flavoring from Southern Flavoring. There are books outside the office to look at and write your order in and give your check to payable to BHUMW to me. I plan to place another order in September unless I get enough response before then.
