Groups
Sunday School
Sunday School meets from 9:45 am until 10:45 am each Sunday. We have a variety of activities for all children, preschool through 5th grade, as well as infant and toddler child care during both Sunday School and all worship services. While adults are attending Sunday School, Christian education is offered to children with the use of a supervised computer lab, using Christian oriented software. There is also an active and exciting study time for Jr. and Sr. High School Youth.
Many opportunities are available for adults to grow in Christ as well. We discuss current events and how this effects us as Christians as well as scripture based lessons.
UMM (United Methodist Men)
Mission Statement: Our mission is to be worthwhile stewards in the community, and to provide assistance to our Church Family. The United Methodist Men meet every month on the 3rd Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. The location will be in the Sunday Bulletin. We have a business meeting while enjoying a meal together. To join the Bermuda Hundred United Methodist Men, contact Charles Woodard or just show up at the next meeting. We understand that not everyone can attend the meetings, so if you want to participate by helping with some of our projects, that will qualify you for membership too.
We sponsor Scouting programs in our area and work to support Bainbridge Ministries in Richmond. Some of our other activities include the annual Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper, our annual Fish Fry in the Spring, our annual Pig Pickin' in the Fall, helping with maintaining the church and grounds, supporting our Youth Group and other mission related efforts. We are very active and there is something we do that will interest just about everyone.

BHUMC Choir
The Bermuda Hundred United Methodist Church Choir meets for rehearsal at 7:00 pm on Thursdays in the church Sanctuary. We welcome anyone who loves to sing- even if they think that they can't! Rehearsals consist of vocal warm-ups, vocal expression, developing musicality, learing new music and practicing for anthems in our church services. We currently sing during the 11:00 am traditional worship service every Sunday.
We would like to encourage occasional special music. If you are interested or know of someone who would be interested and willing, please call the church office at 530-1391. This can be any kind of music, and is not limited to vocal.
